A team from the University of Dundee’s School of Dentistry visited the University of Sulaimani to evaluate its undergraduate and postgraduate programs and assess the university’s infrastructure. During their four-day visit, the team toured all departments within the College of Dentistry. Their goal was to create a modern curriculum that aligns with international dental education standards, with the aim of achieving accreditation from the GDC organization in the UK. Notably, the School of Dentistry at the University of Dundee has been ranked first for two consecutive years in the UK for undergraduate education
On September 16, 2024, Professor Dr. Kosar Mohammed Ali, President of the University of Sulaimani, and Assistant Professor Dr. Zana Mahmood, Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, warmly welcomed Azad Muhammad, a notable farmer from Halabja.
During a meeting, the President of the University of Sulaimani commended his achievements in agricultural products and expressed gratitude. He also mentioned that efforts are underway to arrange for professors and students from the College of Agricultural Engineering Science at the University of Sulaimani to visit his agricultural field for educational purposes.
Azad Muhammad showcased some of his products, and both the President and the Vice President expressed their appreciation for his contributions. At the end of the meeting, Azad Muhammad provided valuable insights and recommendations to the University of Sulaimani’s gardening team.
